Syringes aren't scary anymore

Thank you equals the respect you deserve. Also by me. You will have the best piece of pie at my table. Even your family. You will have the biggest slice of cake, loaded with sweetness it may. One doesn't demand respect. One commands it. You have done it. Showed my what bravery is. Those of you who calculate their odds wearing modern armour, the PPE suit which has become. The busy schedule to care, what parents do, you have done too. What meagre thing you asked of me, for me to stay home. I happily obliged, having greasy grasp of the war you fought during. Ask no more favors and let me repay. I have a debt to pay. You made the healthcare system run a marathon, we're almost there. I'm here for my vaccine-shot to aid, for finishing the race. Its been tough. You're tougher than pain. I've got stories to tell, of what bravery is! Your name is frequent in it, what a legacy you made.

The (short) story behind the letter:

I found about a contest that asked to write a Thank-you letter to the healthcare personnel. It was because of the consistency they maintained during the Covid-19 pandemic. The contest was a fine motivator for me to write something good for heroes. I lost mine, and understand what it is like.

I'm aware this place I created is supposed to be an escape from the world. Pardon me this time.

Hey, this reminds me of Anne frank and the diary she left behind. I'm yet to read it. There's this amazing movie called 'The fault in our stars' that introduced me to it. I highly recommend watching that film, and that film recommended me to take a look at the great diary...off to it now world. 👋
