Slipped my mind, slipped my eye, just slip the ring on my finger quick!! (Poem)

Rings of Gold, Rings of Old, Rings Ancestral, Rings so bold, Unbreakable bond, those bind, In your love, I am blind, Similar rings I have for us, Those Shine! Those Shine! I see now, I'm no more blind, I'm too cheezy to rhyme, Cook me some of your sublime, Hungry for food, Hungry for Love, I'm waiting for you To be called Us. You did bring cake right? The story behind this funny poem; This is one of the few times I tried to deliberately rhyme my poems. This wonderful movie called 'Paterson' familiarised me with writing poems. It needn't rhyme, your poem, the movie taught a younger Ahmed. Paterson likes his poems when those don't rhyme. Me too. I think the rhymes here make this poem funny. I like how it turned out.
