People can be aphrodisiacs, I know you like my afro, You don't think its dry, It reminds you of lotus-silk, And I'm a telepath, But You knew that already.

The story behind the poem;
Have you read My poem 'Aeolian Harp' yet? You must first as this poem 'Telepaths' is its spiritual successor. Since my train halted, meaning it didn't work out between that beauty and me, I never got to read her this one. The afro reference;
In The first quarter of 2021, I had grown my hair long, not as fluffy as an actual afro, but a super-cool man-bun. I always wanted an afro, and I wanted her embrace sometimes in that period. These things paired like fruit and sherbet. So, as it happens, I never had an afro and I never had her. Story of my life. I'll get an afro and I'll get someone who's just as beautiful at heart, if not more. Sooner than later. Wish me luck😉
